Today the building management sent a card to apologize for the fiasco. The staff was really nice, but you just have to laugh at the card. (Click to see a bigger version if you can’t read it.)
BTW: They didn’t give us movie tickets, but Outback gift certificates instead. Apparently we made out better than their usual elevator entrapees. (They said we were the nicest people to get stuck that they can remember.) It’s frightening to think how regularly this must happen that they have pre-printed cards…
