Mr December

I’ve known about this for quite some time, but I hadn’t posted anything about it since I didn’t want to spoil the surprise for family members who were receiving these as Christmas stocking stuffers. (Mom bought a bunch from the nice lady on the TV when she heard about it.)

Yep, that’s my photo of Main Street in Fort Worth gracing the December page of Channel 5’s “North Texas Weather Calendar.” It ain’t quite Rolling Stone, but it’s still a pretty cool feeling. I’m in there with a few DFW area photographers I’ve admired for quite some time, so it’s a nice little bit of validation for my ego.

Oh, and if you want a copy (or if you just need a grid printed on paper to help you keep track of what day it is) just let me know. The publisher sent me a whole case of the overruns.

That rocks, congratulations and I definitely want to be on the recipient list. It does make the Bass Hall incident a little more worth while now right? Right? Okay, maybe not.

Awesome… congrats! Add me to the distribution… let me know if I need to send in postage.

Sweet – I still need a 2009 calendar and I’ll have a good story to tell about December when it rolls around. Mark me down for one!

Congratulations!

If you come to one of the DFW photographers’ meetups in the near future, and if you still have a copy of that calendar, we (Leo and I) would love to have one autographed :)
