Looks like it’s something from a comic book, doesn’t it? Actually, this sculpture overlooks the entrance of the Central and Southern Bank building in Atlanta, Georgia and was carved by my great-grandfather.
This was one of the light fixtures in the church where my sister got hitched yesterday.

Saturday was “Dollar Day” at Lone Star Park. That means dollar admission, dollar beer, dollar hot dogs, and one heck of a crowd. It was a great opportunity for people watching and a little photo taking. You can see the whole set here.
